Battlefield 3 Open Beta and New Trailer

Battlefield 3's open beta will hit Xbox LIVE, PSN, and EA's Origin on September 29, 2011. Purchaser's of the limited edition of Medal of Honor will receive access two days early. According to DICE, players will be able to enjoy the beta until October 10th. Also, there will not be a level cap or limit on what can be unlocked. Sadly, stats will not carry over into the final retail version, though you will be able to keep your soldier name.



To build your hype meter up for this title, there is a new gameplay TV ad featuring the song "99 Problems" by Jay-Z. The trailer highlights the graphical beast that is Battlefield 3, showing off what will be one of the best looking games this generation. Personally, I wish I had a more superior PC to enjoy a full 64 soldier battle, but I'll just have to be content with the Playstation 3 version.

Battlefield 3 will release on October 25, 2011 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
